Each month we produce a detailed (and summarized) report of all activity, events and if any situation that might have occurred. 

We use SNMP v3 that allows for encryption / secure authentication in all environments where this is available, we use specialized client in windows / UNIX environment to collect logs / resource utilization and general information. We always setup a secure connection to the customer, this connection variates depending on the equipment of the customer but is usually a lan-2-lan vpn tunnel.
